Your use of light and shadow is the first thing that nearly always catches my attention. The way your use of light flows through your compositions conveys a unique sense of emotion, temperature, and movement, especially among water and clouds. It’s truly incredible!

I enjoy the history of lighthouses, not to mention the beauty, quiet and peacefulness many of the lighthouses provide in-person.  Your photographs do a good job of showing these qualities, regardless of weather or time of day.  Other photographs that you have taken of nature that aren't lighthouse related also exude these same qualities.  I'm a retired police officer so I always appreciate good photographs that can portray beauty, peace and calm.   I've also found your videos interesting that you post regarding where you are trying to get set-up for some of your shots, as well as other background info you give regarding your work.  Although I'm not an expert in the photography world, I don't know of other photographers who do that.
